I try to get a hike in during the week while most people are working. Maxwell Falls is near Evergreen, and it was listed as having shade and pretty views. The falls were not running since we've had a very dry year so far!
This section of the Colorado Trail is outside Copper Mountain Ski Area. I don't plan to ever walk the entire Trail from Mexico to Canada but I walked in a mile and came back to the same spot to say I walked some of it!
